Make-A-Movie Studios has gone global. Christopher Parsons, a teacher at the St. Andrews International School in Thailand recently completed production on the Make-A-Movie Studios script "Small Town Secrets." Watch the trailer to their movie which will be premiered at a gala event as Parson's describes, "...formal attire, red carpet - the works!"

As the Executive Director for the Cipriani After School Care Inc., I can enthusiastically recommend Shelley Frost's Make-A-Movie for kids Workshop.

During our summer session, we contracted with Shelley to teach five Make-A-Movie classes. She and her 50 "castmembers" produced five movies which were shown to the entire student body during our "Academy Awards."

The children who participated enjoyed a very enriching experience: they learned about scriptwriting, creating costumes, how to find the right background for their scenes, and most of all, how to "get into character." The kids really enjoyed themselves. Shelley was able to instruct the kids on movie making while at the same time entertain them through a fun process.

We are hoping to have Shelley teach the Make-A-Movie Workshop again next Summer.

I would strongly recommend Shelley Frost and her Make-A-Movie Workshop for any organization. We have found her to be patient and creative with the students, drawing out their own creativity in the process.

The students develop the storyline with Shelley's direction, and she then becomes videographer and director. The outcome is very entertaining, and was recently given a full page spread in the San Francisco Chronicle.

I have appreciated the program, and the kids seem to really enjoy being characters and developing the whole product. Then Shelley takes it to the next level for her screening party, so parents and everyone can enjoy the fruits of their labor. And it's fun!

Hi Shelley - The courses went really well again this year and I'm hoping to expand next summer so looking forward to that.

I only sent out the last DVD this week and am getting some lovely feedback from the kids and their parents. The Secret Cellar worked really well for us, although as we were shooting it I didn't know if it would come together in editing but it was great - its amazing how you can 'suggest' a fire! And we did the 'Afternoon Show' which worked really well as one of our camps was in a TV Studio anyway, and 'Sodabread' which is always a good one for the younger groups.

Anyway just wanted to let you know how delighted I am with your scripts and how well they work for us, though at times it's a struggle as we have to get the kids up to speed technically as well as the acting - but I think they like to be kept busy.

Anyway, I will be in touch again as I hope to get ahead of myself this year and not leave everything till the last minute.
